MultiMan [LANNET Data Communications, Inc.]

MultiMan is a SNMP-based management station application family forLANNET's MultiNet modular and stackable hubs. It also manage othervendors' SNMP compliant products. MultiMan offers managementcapabilities for virtual networking security and element monitoringsystems, a database, alarm handler, and topology diagnosis. It is tightlyintegrated with the underlying platform providing static propagation,alarm logging and interpretation. Double-clicking on objects permits theuser to manipulate a dynamic pictorial object which resembles the realhub. Additional screens are available for managing at card and portlevel. Abstract operations are also possible on groups and virtualnetworks for dynamic security and connectivity purposes.
